Shouldn't this go into the MeV package in BASE plug-ins?
It could, my thinking was that there already was a TDMS export core plug-in. Do as you think is better.

The MeV export is in the core because once MeV was also part of the core. The export could not be moved to the MeV extension because it is part of the BioAssaySetExporter.
