Default platform / raw data type for a project is not used when creating new raw bioassays

Description
I have activated a project which has selected a default platform and raw data type. When I create a new raw bioassay this is ignored and the first platform in the list is selected. The default platform / raw data type is Generic / Genepix and the one selected when creating a new raw bioassay is Affymetrix. I think the same thing may apply when creating array designs but I have not tested that.
