Description
we have noted that none of the value in the data file such as -1.98E+00 or -2.00E+00 (negative numbers with E+00) where not recognized.

It seems like this ticket didn't fix the problem as it was described. It still remains for all numbers containing 'E+' (doesn't matter if it is E+0 or not). See #1537 for more information.
