Firefox unresponsive script warning when uploading files

Description
When uploading affymetrix .CEL files, upload process occurs in 'chunks' at the last 'chunk' before upload finished firefox gives a "warning: unrepsonsive script" with choices "stop script" or "continue". pressing continue brings the warning message up again, pressing stop script, stops the scripts and returns me to the upload page, where the file appears to have been successfully uploaded. While this does not seem to prevent files from uploading, it is annoying.

I can not reproduce this with Firefox version 1.5.0.3 on Linux. I really don't understand why the warning message is displayed. I have seen the same or a similar for scripts that hang in an endless loop but the upload page just has a simple one-line script that reloads the page or, when the upload is finished, closes the window.
It could be a browser version/operating system issue, so unless more information is provided we are not able to do more about this ticket.
