This was an unusually problem-free upgrade of Hibernate. No compilation errors. A single compilation warning about a cast in SchemaGenerator. All test program complete without error and the web client seems to be working as expected.

Lot's of bug fixes during the summer, so better to update to 5.5.6 before next release.
