It is not technically possible to mix different biomaterial types in the same list. This go deep into the Query API and permission system.

    1 It should be possible to group biomaterials into lists (similar to grouping reporters in reporter lists). A single list may contain a mix of different biomaterials (biosource, sample, extract and labeled extract). The primary use of the lists will be to use them as filters.
